Are you searching for something different to do over Thanksgiving weekend that doesn’t involve shopping and the black Friday crowds? Then, get out and enjoy nature during the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum’s walking tour on Friday or Saturday morning.

The two mile walking tour takes place along the Eastside Trail, which runs from Piedmont Park to Irwin Street in the Old Fourth Ward. The guided tours are provided by Trees Atlanta volunteers who are expertly trained about the horticulture that exists along the trail. In addition to learning about the horticultural collections that can be found along the BeltLine Arboretum, attendees will learn about the design and history of the BeltLine while they experience first-hand the positive impact that the project is having on Atlanta’s communities. The tours are free but registration is required. However, if you can’t make it Thanksgiving weekend, the tours are being held every Friday and Saturday morning through the end of the year.

Home buyers that enjoy the nature and history that can be found along the BeltLine will be pleased to learn that Epic Development has broken ground on a new Modern-style home that is located within walking distance of the Eastside Trail. The three-story home, located at 582 Morgan St., will feature four bedrooms and three bathrooms with a guest bedroom and full bath suite on the main level. The open floor plan features a modern kitchen with custom cabinetry, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island. The kitchen overlooks the family room, which is complete with a fireplace, and the oversized rear deck. There is also a formal dining room on the main level.

The third floor of the home features two secondary bedrooms, a hall bathroom, laundry room and the master suite. The stunning master bathroom is complete with double vanities and an oversized shower that has double shower heads and a frameless glass enclosure.

The home has a two-car drive-under garage on the first floor, as well as an unfinished bonus room. It is currently under construction and is expected to be move-in ready in the spring of 2014.
