On July 14, Ponce City Market began hosting Food Cart Sundays at the BeltLine Shed! This event features food carts including Doggy Dogg, Atomic Ice Cream Sandwiches and Dancing Goats from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. every Sunday. This is just one more great opportunity that this amazing development has afforded residents in the area, and Epic Development is excited to be a part of this community! The Shed, which is located on the Eastside Trail at the Ponce de Leon Avenue Bridge, invites everyone to come out and stay awhile, and while you’re there, don’t forget to use the hastag #BeltLineBites!

In addition to food carts, the Ponce City Market will be hosting biweekly tours on Sunday afternoons to benefit local charities. The cost is $5.00 per person, and reservations are required and can be made on the Ponce City Market blog.

Ponce City Market is located between Ponce de Leon Avenue and North Avenue directly across from the Historic Fourth Ward Park. The building is the historic Sears, Roebuck & Company store, which is being redeveloped into 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 450,000 square feet of office space and 260 residential units. This is the largest adaptive reuse project in the city of Atlanta’s history! Ponce City Market is scheduled to open in 2014.

Epic Development is currently building five new homes within walking distance of Ponce City Market, including a three-story modern-style home on Morgan Street that will feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open living space, modern kitchen with island, an oversized deck, two-car garage and an unfinished bonus room.
