Foodies and metro Atlanta residents alike are gearing up for a nine-day culinary event known as Atlanta Downtown Restaurant Week! Featuring signature prix-fixe menus from Downtown’s best restaurants, diners can enjoy a variety of Atlanta’s tastiest dishes at exclusive pricing. Now in its 12th year, Atlanta Downtown Restaurant Week is being held from Saturday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014. This year’s event has more than 35 participating restaurants that are offering brunch, lunch and/or dinner options.
Diners can enjoy $15 and $25 brunch options at four locations, including No Mas! Cantina, The BQE Restaurant and Lounge, Café 458 and Poor Calvin’s Absolute Fusion. Popular menu items at these locations include omelets, chicken and waffles, Georgia peach French toast and more.
Seventeen restaurants will offer lunch menus during restaurant week, including Fire of Brazil, Hard Rock Café, Glenn’s Kitchen, Legal Sea Foods and more. Lunch menu options include shrimp and grits, Cuban pork BBQ tortas and bourbon glazed Atlantic salmon.
Dinner options will be offered at either $25 or $35 at 34 participating restaurants, including Alma Cocina, The Commerce Club, Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria, McCormick & Schmick’s, Meehan’s Public House, Morton’s, Prime Meridian, Ray’s in the City and more. Menu offerings for dinner include swordfish, buttermilk fried chicken, parmesan chicken pasta, grilled ribeye and much more.
