I very rarely do a true personal blog but I have to share this with everyone! I was recently reminded why I love my job and what I love the most about it.

I recently worked with some new buyer clients about a listing of mine at The Preserve East Atlanta. They were very motivated to find a home and combine their households. We started working together at the end of January. After putting 2 homes under contract (one being a foreclosure and the other one being a short sale) they realized the short sale was taking too long so we jumped back out there and found the perfect home! They waited a little too long to make an offer so we ended up in a multiple offer situation. My clients were very calm and listened to my advice and we were the winning the bid. They were great about every part of the transaction and worked hard to accommodate the sellers who’s due date for their third child was 5 days after the closing date! My clients agreed to allow the sellers to rent the home for 4 weeks so they could have their baby and have time to move.

So my clients closed on their new home mid May but were not able to move in for 4 weeks. I was checking in during this time just making sure that all was going well.

The next thing I know I get a text with a picture of an engagement ring on my clients hand!!!! I call her immediately to find out the scoop! She walked into her new home to a PROPOSAL!!!!

It was awesome to be one of the first people to receive the news about the engagement. It happened in their new home and they are truly making memories and starting their lives together!

I am just so happy that I was able to be a part of their lives. It isn’t about selling homes, it is about being a part of people’s lives and helping them move towards those other big events!

Life is good and I am ready to help the next buyer and/or seller!!!
